What is so special about fish catchers the corporate need to know?  Fish catchers know how to catch fish. How they are connected to the corporate world or what relevance are they creating in the organization? Certainly, the fish catchers are available in plenty in most corporate and their job is just and only catching fishes from the corporate water.   The truth is that only fish catching or having plenty of fish catchers in the corporate do no good, hence both the top management/entrepreneurs and the HR must be aware of that.

One needs to understand how fish catchers catch the fishes.  The best thing they follow during their operation is that they muddle/confuse or stir the water where the fishes live.  When the water becomes turbid or particulate, the fishes naturally loose their focus and become an easy catch.    In the bigger ponds, the fisher folks also use the well trained otters or other small animals to frighten the fishes to move towards the net or towards a particular direction.  Confuse or scare or frighten is the most common tactics they use to catch fishes.

In many corporate also, there are several employees apply scare tactics or tactics of muddling to control or catch their subordinates or the peers.  Confusing tactics is more often used to escape from the responsibilities or to undercut the performance of others.  On the contrary, the scare techniques are used largely to increase the performance of people or to exert control on someone in the corporate.

In sales department, the scare or confusing techniques are more common or rampantly prevalent.  In many other departments also, the functional/section heads apply the above techniques.  The confused employees and scared subordinates can be easily controlled and hence they naturally listen to all the stupidity of their bosses.  They neither dare to question the boss as well. 

The saddest and the most frustrating fact is that even the HR does apply these techniques both in their own department as well as in the corporate.  Such HR does appreciate the fish catchers in the corporate as the best leaders.  Further, the HR also venerates them to be the best administrators and who know how to control the team very well.   Mostly, the single men driven corporate are the one which suffers a lot from such people or such culture.  The entrepreneurs are also sometime become an easy fish to these people.  After all who does not want to eat a fish if it comes easily to their dining table?  Check, are you a fish or a fish catcher in your corporate?
